Loose, broken, or cracked dental crown treatment
If you’ve suffered dental trauma, or have been under a large amount of stress resulting in teeth grinding, you may have cracked or broken a dental crown. To receive the assistance of our highly trained dentists and specialists, book an emergency dental crown treatment at our clinic, LDN Dental, located just a few short minutes walk from King’s Cross St Pancras.
During your emergency appointment, the dentist or specialist will first assess the severity of the issue. You will then receive a comprehensive treatment plan and advice on your options.
For some milder cases, an immediate fix may be available through dental bonding. This can help with a minor crack or slightly loosened crown. Where a more complex treatment is necessary, you will be given a range of options to choose from. We accept all dental insurance policies. Finance is also available upon request.
Same-day dental crown
With an on-site CEREC machine, we can offer our patients same-day dental crown preparation and application. The device uses a 3D scanner which allows the dentist to create an exact model of the crown. Once the model is prepared, a milling machine carves it out from a single ceramic block.
This advanced technology required only a few hours from beginning to end and allows us to fit your dental crown within the same appointment.
Is a same-day crown the best emergency dental crown treatment option?
CEREC is by far the quickest way to create a dental restoration and is also considered one of the safest methodologies, using only the finest dental materials. Critiques have expressed concerns over the durability of the dental crowns created from a single ceramic block; however, research has not found any difference between CEREC and lab-created restorations.
